So exciting to be included in the International Women’s Day Art Exhibition at Hemingway’s at Manly on March 8!

I am one of ten artists exhibiting work ranging from figurative to abstraction and showing different mediums and approaches to our work. Artists include Bryony Hudson, Sunja Hall, Karen Williams, Deanne Palmer, Penny Polkinghorne, Fiona Johnson, Svetlana Varlamova, Susan Patrick and Rachel Carroll.

Read my Artist Statement for the two works I am displaying:

RL Green uses the medium of encaustic wax which reacts on its own to heat and flame in a reflection of the powers of the natural world. Net Caught in Current illuminates how small man is in comparison to nature and its swells and rhythms. The Fish are Free is a celebration of the resilient power and beauty of nature. The works stand independently drawing attention to the reality and danger that the superiority of humans is not guaranteed and nature will unleash its forces and sweep away made objects and unleash forces beyond human control.

Enjoy the vibe with a glass of wine at Hemingway’s and meet the artists from 4-6pm.

Please RSVP through Eventbrite
